LSMSC is the only Miniature Schnauzer Club in Texas and surrounding areas. The club is dedicated to the betterment of the breed and promoting the qualities of the Miniature Schnauzer to the public. The club holds a Specialty Show each year with Schnauzers from around the country in attendance.  LSMSC also has a successful Rescue Program.
